Compassionate Care

Our compassionate and patient-centred care ensures that children feel comfortable during their therapy sessions. We strive to build trust and rapport with our young patients to make their physiotherapy journey rewarding.

Conditions

“We treat babies, children and teenagers in the comfort of their own home with a range of conditions. Childrens are not just small adults and therefore need to be treated differently. They often wish for different outcomes than adults and so the physiotherapy plan will reflect this.”

Why Choose Pilates?

Pilates has the same benefits for children as well as adults. It can help with:

Physiotherapy-led pilates has many benefits – the pilates programme is tailored to the needs of the child/young person as the physiotherapist has an in depth knowledge of illnesses and injuries which can cause problems with movement.

Hazel loves pilates and has been teaching or attending classes for several years She is APPI trained (The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) in the full Matwork series plus has further training in Kids and Teens Pilates

Pilates is offered on a 1:1 (or 2:1) basis or in a small group format. The groups are currently run via the Zoom platform.
The group classes come in two different forms -Story-style and Teens and Tweens The Story-Style class is fun, and combines dynamic movement with an imaginative element.
The Teens and Tweens class is an adult-style class but with the benefit of exercising with peers and is tailored using Hazel’s knowledge of issues relating to adolescence and rapid growth.
